A nice one I saw recently, which is quite upbeat and positive is 'Nina's Heavenly Delights'. It's a British film, with the main premise being the main character [I forget the name now =/] trying to win an Indian food contest; but she falls for her brothers [pretend] girlfriend along the way. It's quite refreshing insofar as it's not totally angsty and downbeat; it's just part of the story. It's also set in Scotland, which I love for the accents.
